Tauke re-grammed!

When my Ola Bola excitement was still burning over the weekend, I drew a fan art of Chow Kwok Keong aka the Tauke. I wanted to draw him looking all cool but cool isn't my line after all. I stayed with my own cute style and voila, my first painting of the year!

I did tag the actor of the Tauke, @jc_chee and honestly, I've always wanted me, my drawing or anything me to be featured in somebody else's social media. And three mornings after uploading the fan art, I woke up to a bunch of notifications of the Instagram. One of those was this:

Tauke re-grammed my fan art! This totally made my morning! I was smiling all morning because of it. Having my drawing being re-grammed by an actor just made me baffled! Oh, and Balak Eric's actor, @therealericteng followed me too! That's crazy!!!!

I spent my afternoon painting! Sometimes I wonder if I should have taken an art course instead lol! Anyway, it's been ages since I last painted a human-animal hybrid. This time, I painted a fawn/doe girl. It was fun!

The white patches on the hair were supposed to be snow, but.....well, obviously it did not turn out to be like snow (￣▽￣).

The Golden Trio (not my best technique)

So after the interview, I finally had the time to paint again (and continue with my movie marathon).I had been longing to paint the golden trio from Harry Potter and finally I painted them.

I did not use my best watercolour technique and also, I used my drawing pen to do the inking. I still like the outcome of the painting, and I hope I will be a better painter. This painting is up on my Instagram, @_vivianchong . Do double tap the painting if you like. :D

"Keep the clothes in."

It rained very heavily this afternoon when I was in the main campus of my university. I was holding my cellphone in my palms and hoping that the rain would turn to drizzle. I glanced through my inbox and there, I thought of mother. I wish I were at home.

Every time when it rains and I am the only one at home, mother would text me "Keep the clothes in" or simply "Clothes" if she was busy. I imagined my phone rang and I received a text message from mother, reminding me about the clothes . I miss mother very much.
