[REVIEW] LÚCIDO-L Designing Tube Hair Cream (Moist)

I once blogged about how frizzy my hair is, and it wasn't until
my aunt pointed it out when she came for a visit.

Now, I am not that loaded to go to the salon weekly to get my hair treated.
So I treated my hair using conditioner, serum and hair oil at home.
They were nice to use but when you are just busy and have almost no time for your hair, you somehow lose the determination to care for your hair, and everything becomes a hassle.

When someone touches my hair without my consent and comments how rough and dry my hair is as if I asked for any opinion, it annoys me,
to a point where I don't care anymore if anyone touches it and gives negative remark.
At that point, I only use hair oil to treat my hair. It improves the condition of hair slightly.
I have given up conditioner since it consumes time and my youth can't wait lol

Not too long ago, I was searching for hair product on Hermo and I came across this
LÚCIDO-L Designing Tube Hair Cream (Moist)
There was only one review, and it's a positive one,
and the price stated was about RM 16.
"How cheap it was," I thought.
Also, it's a leave-on conditioner, and can be used on damp or dry hair!
So, I can use this after using the hair oil which I use when my hair's damp and not completely dry. Since there's no need to rinse,
I think it's really convenient!
Considering how my hair looked like,

I took this shot for another review purpose back in September 2018
I THINK MY PHOTO SAYS A LOT

I thought,
Even if the product wasn't effective,
there's nothing to lose with such cheap price.
Although it will be a waste of money, it would be way better than
spending nearly a hundred for a similar result

Then, I went to Watsons, and I found it on the shelf.
It was on sale and costed about RM 12.
What a steal!
I bought it right there and then.

What to know about this product?
- Specially designed for damaged and frizzy unruly hair
- Non-sticky
- Moisturises hair ends
- Able to run fingers through hair easily
- With UV protection formula
- Contains Hyaluronic Acid
- Long-lasting moisturising touch
- For a well-managed look
- Usable on both wet and dry hair style

+1 for
Nominated #3 best under the Hairwork category in 2017 by @cosme
(almost got myself sold due to the @cosme award)

How to use this?
Disperse some* cream on your palm and spread evenly on your hair.
(*1 cm amount would suffice for medium length hair)
The amount between 1 cm and 1.5 cm is just right for my medium-long length hair. I always spread the cream from about mid-ear down to the end and avoid starting from my scalp.

Does it really do what it claims to do?

Non-sticky and able to run fingers through hair easily
★★★★★
I miss having smooth hair and I kept running my fingers through my hair ahhah but when I touch my hair a bit too often, my fingers do become slightly sticky. I think it's because of the heat or warmth of my fingers. Overall, it does what it says so it deserves full stars!

Long-lasting moisturising touch
★★★★★
On the third day of using, I can already feel that it will mend my hair well and improve my hair condition. After using for some time, I notice that it is capable to keep my hair moisturised for more than 32 hours or until my next usage on damp hair!

Usable on both wet and dry hair style,
for a well-managed look
★★★★★
When it says wet, of course it means when there's no water dripping anymore and pretty sure it actually meant damp hair.
I always use the hair cream after my hair oil on days I wash my hair. I think both make a great combination! My hair looks straighter too~
Whereas on days I don't wash my hair, whenever I feel the need to make my hair look better, I just use the hair cream just like that, and voila~ The end of my hair becomes tidier and not messy~
Therefore, LÚCIDO-L Designing Tube Hair Cream (Moist) really stays true to its claims.

Contains HA and UV Protection formula
I am unable to give my views on this ( ̄▽ ̄)

Any drawback?
My only complain is that it makes the hair straight and the hair cream is unable to volumise my hair. Well, any hair curler will fix this issue since the hair cream is able to also protect the hair from heat damage~

This is the condition of my hair after using for almost a month

End of December 2018

Compared to before using the hair cream, I think my hair condition has improved significantly and I am very pleased with LÚCIDO-L Designing Tube Hair Cream (Moist).
My favourite aspect is how much time it saves me as I could be very busy. Other than that, with such cheap price for a great result and performance, it is definitely worth buying.

Without a doubt, I will definitely repurchase this!

Hair Colour

It was Labour Day yesterday and we are having an extra day off today. With semester break just around the corner, you have no idea how much I want to dye my hair. All thanks to my friends who posted their newly dyed hair colour photos onto the social media. How I wish I could dye to work.

Throwback to the days I had red hair.

I didn't ask for this colour, but it turned out red. Oh well, at least I rocked it. I have considered dyeing my hair, and then putting on a wig to work. But have you any idea how hot it will be ?

This was the colour I wanted back then

Red and dusty pink are like so different.
This one below looks lovely too

If I were to dye again, I'd opt for orange

I am so envious of people who aren't government workers. (。•́︿•̀。)

Wish Granted

You know, I have always wanted to dye my hair pink since a few years ago. Obviously I did not, because the university won't allow.
Therefore now that I have finished my studies, I go for it. So I dyed my hair last weekend and here it is.

I wish it was more powdery and looked like strawberry pink instead, because my outcome seems pretty neon-ish, in my opinion. But I think it doesn't matter, because I am really happy with what I get ^^

I want this colour actually.

How's your Chinese New Year preparation? :)

[REVIEW] Dariya Palty Sakura Creamy

Hey, lovelies <3 I have finally dyed my hair after waiting for several weeks! I bought this Japanese hair dye from the same online store where I bought my Dariya Palty Juicy Peach (Click here for my review).

Product: パルテイヘアカラー (さくらクリーミイ)Dariya Palty Sakura Creamy
Price: RM 42.00 (USD 13.56)
Review:

That's the box~ The Dariya Palty has new packaging and new formula now. Mine is the old one (I bought this last year~). The design of the box is lovely, isn't it? The new one looks pretty too~ (Click to see the new packaging). I had mother to help me dye my hair~ *Thanks mom~*

Okay, there are six items in the box:
1. Hair Colour Cream
2. Developer (Oxide Water)
3. Comb Applicator
4. Gloves
5. Tsubaki Oil Leave On Conditioner
6. Instruction (in Japanese)

So this was how my hair looked like before dyeing. My roots were about 4-5 inches long, and the last time I dyed my hair was in July 2012.

Mom took about 20 minutes to coat my hair with the hair dye. Then, I wrapped my head with a plastic bag and then wrapped again with my towel so that the heat from my head will further oxidize the hair dye~ I let the hair dye set in for 40 minutes and rinsed my hair with lukewarm water. After that, I shampooed and applied conditioner onto my hair. Lastly, I used to leave on conditioner that came along after towel dried my hair~

Colour: ★★☆☆☆
I'm rather disappointed that my hair colour did not turn out like the colour chart stated behind the packaging despite knowing that the chart will not be reliable. On the other hand, when I used the Dariya Palty Juicy Peach, the colour of my hair turned out to be exactly like what was shown at the back of the packaging. Seeing what happened now is so irony because I even said that the hair colour of the model can be misleading and thus causing disappointment and complaints. Hah, take that in my face. The Before-After picture above shows almost no difference.

Odour/Smell: ★★☆☆☆
The odour was rather strong. The chemical smell was very disdainful. I'm not sure if it was because I kept it too long on the shelf though..

Overall: ★★★☆☆
On the brighter side, I'm glad that my hair colour is even now. Half a loaf is always better than none. Anyway, I read some reviews from other bloggers that one box will not be sufficient for long hair (below the shoulder). Apparently, I have some left over for myself after coating my whole head. Other than that, according to other consumers especially

those who have tried the new formula of this Dariya Palty, the foam dye will form some clumps. Moreover, when the foam dye is applied onto the hair, it will disappear right away, making any consumer having no enough whatsoever to dye the hair. For further reading, please read the review from this consumer. I will not recommend Dariya Palty hair dye to anyone now. I don't want anyone to be disappointed like me. Anyway the choice is still yours. So, would you use the Dariya Palty hair colour?

[REVIEW] Palty Juicy Peach

A few months ago whenever I stepped in to Watsons, I caught myself being tempted to dye my hair when I locked my sight at the KAO Liese Bubble Hair Colour (known as Prettia in Japan). I have always wanted my hair colour to be honey blonde or dark ash brown, and I, myself pretty much like the Japan Gyaru's hair colour. So I went looking for Liese's reviews from all over the world and I found that there are several other brands that are better than Liese. I looked out for the Blythe, Gatsby and other hair dye DIY brands you can find. Eventually I bumped into the Dariya Palty.

Why Palty?
Based on a good number of reviews, it seems like it is the best for Asians. Palty is custom made specially for Asians since we have very dark hair colour. Anyone who has dyed his/her hair will surely remember how disappointed (s)he is when the hair colour does not turn out to be like what's illustrated on the hair dye package (including me! I dyed once in a saloon). From another source I've read, it seems like Palty does not excrete disdainful chemical smell like other brands.

Colour Factor
I am giving 5/5 for the colour rating because my hair colour turns out to be like the colour stated at the back of the package. Anyone who wants to dye his/her hair should be mindful of the colour at the front of the box because it is usually very misleading (thus causing disappointment and complaints). In my case I used the Palty Juicy Peach, and this is me before using it;

Price Factor
RM 39.00 (12.22 USD) and I am giving this 5/5 rating.

Where to Buy?
Palty cannot be found in Malaysia, not that I know of. True to this when I read from another review, saying that Palty has to be ordered online. Thus, I managed to get one for myself from AiCandy Affaire.

Overall
I'd recommend this for fellow Asians who want to lighten their hair colour. Next time, I'll definitely use Palty again to dye my hair~ And yes, there isn't any disdainful smell of chemical (maybe because I have good air circulation!), my hair is soft and smooth too!
