Soufflé Omelette recipe

The dish Soufflé Omelette will sound familiar to you if you watch 食戟のソーマ (Shokugeki no Souma). I hardly watch anime these days but then when it's recommended, I thought I should give it a try. The next thing happened was I was hooked with 食戟のソーマ. I'm not going to elaborate more, but this anime makes me want to try out the dishes served. Well, being lazy, I choose to try making the Soufflé Omelette.

I experimented three times and finally managed to produce one quite akin to Souma's cooking. I also did an Expectation vs Reality thing on my Twitter using all my three attempts. Hereby, I'd like to thank Ziying for sharing some tips with me. And now, I'd like to share the recipe here;

Soufflé Omelette

Difficulty: Easy

Duration: 8 minutes

Number of servings: 1

Ingredients:

1 egg

1 tsp. butter*

Ketchup

*Alternative: Sesame oil

Optional: Sugar or salt, herbs

Instructions:

1. Separate the egg white and yolk (optional: add a pinch of sugar or salt into the egg white). Whisk the egg white for about five minutes. Then, add the yolk in and mix well.

2. Heat butter in a frying pan and pour the batter in. Cook in medium heat for one minute. Next, cover the pan and cook for another minute.

3. Fold the omelette in half and serve on a plate. Pour some ketchup over (optional: top with herb).

A (Late) Tribute to the end of Naruto series!

You know, it'd be a lie if I said that I don't miss Naruto. The facts that it has ended last month and it has been 15 glorious years of production amazed me. Well, I do feel lost somehow, like no manga to look forward to every week, but every beginning has an ending. So I don't really feel sad about it (yet). Aaaaaaaanyway, I have been wanting to post a tribute entry to Naruto. I am glad I have cosplayed as my favourite character, Hyuuga Hinata.

And......! Naruto The Last Movie has been released in Japan. I'm sure Naruto fans are all aware of this. I can't wait to watch it!

By the way, Sasuke looks really cool with those eyes. His hairstyle reminds me of Hayate though. Do you remember who Hayate is? Click here if you don't!

Oh, Naruhina alert!

Seriously, Hinata looks and gets even more polite and graceful as she grows. She is just so feminine and gentle. I want to grow up being a fine young lady like her too!

Pikachu Gijinka

Am I happy to say that I have attended Animangaki 2014 last Saturday! I only attended the first day but it was enough to make me feel positively splendiferous. Looking back at this event, Animangaki was the first event that I cosplayed, it was 2009 then and I was completely a newbie. Animangaki 2009 was where I met and made new friends who have common interest. Being in this event in a different year makes me miss everything so much! 

Okay, let's cut the long (hi)story short, I cosplayed as a Pokemon gijinka (Google 'gijinka' if you have to!), and I had chosen Pikachu~ I am very happy with myself and I miss the event and I miss my friends already!

I have stripes and the tail too, okay? Ahahah
