[REVIEW] Dariya Palty Sakura Creamy

Hey, lovelies <3 I have finally dyed my hair after waiting for several weeks! I bought this Japanese hair dye from the same online store where I bought my Dariya Palty Juicy Peach (Click here for my review).

Product: パルテイヘアカラー (さくらクリーミイ)Dariya Palty Sakura Creamy
Price: RM 42.00 (USD 13.56)
Review:

That's the box~ The Dariya Palty has new packaging and new formula now. Mine is the old one (I bought this last year~). The design of the box is lovely, isn't it? The new one looks pretty too~ (Click to see the new packaging). I had mother to help me dye my hair~ *Thanks mom~*

Okay, there are six items in the box:
1. Hair Colour Cream
2. Developer (Oxide Water)
3. Comb Applicator
4. Gloves
5. Tsubaki Oil Leave On Conditioner
6. Instruction (in Japanese)

So this was how my hair looked like before dyeing. My roots were about 4-5 inches long, and the last time I dyed my hair was in July 2012.

Mom took about 20 minutes to coat my hair with the hair dye. Then, I wrapped my head with a plastic bag and then wrapped again with my towel so that the heat from my head will further oxidize the hair dye~ I let the hair dye set in for 40 minutes and rinsed my hair with lukewarm water. After that, I shampooed and applied conditioner onto my hair. Lastly, I used to leave on conditioner that came along after towel dried my hair~

Colour: ★★☆☆☆
I'm rather disappointed that my hair colour did not turn out like the colour chart stated behind the packaging despite knowing that the chart will not be reliable. On the other hand, when I used the Dariya Palty Juicy Peach, the colour of my hair turned out to be exactly like what was shown at the back of the packaging. Seeing what happened now is so irony because I even said that the hair colour of the model can be misleading and thus causing disappointment and complaints. Hah, take that in my face. The Before-After picture above shows almost no difference.

Odour/Smell: ★★☆☆☆
The odour was rather strong. The chemical smell was very disdainful. I'm not sure if it was because I kept it too long on the shelf though..

Overall: ★★★☆☆
On the brighter side, I'm glad that my hair colour is even now. Half a loaf is always better than none. Anyway, I read some reviews from other bloggers that one box will not be sufficient for long hair (below the shoulder). Apparently, I have some left over for myself after coating my whole head. Other than that, according to other consumers especially

those who have tried the new formula of this Dariya Palty, the foam dye will form some clumps. Moreover, when the foam dye is applied onto the hair, it will disappear right away, making any consumer having no enough whatsoever to dye the hair. For further reading, please read the review from this consumer. I will not recommend Dariya Palty hair dye to anyone now. I don't want anyone to be disappointed like me. Anyway the choice is still yours. So, would you use the Dariya Palty hair colour?
