The 'Taming of The Shrew' is one of William Shakespeare's most successful and well-known literature in the world. Aside from 'The Importance of Being Earnest' (by Oscar Wilde), the 'Taming of the Shrew' is known to be the best comedy. The term 'comedy' in literature refers to one with happy ending, usually involving marriages.
The English Language Society of my university has carried out a theatrical project, and we will be using this Shakespeare's literature to be our play. Despite the different settings of the play, we have adapted the 'Taming of The Shrew' into a modern one. Our practice began about two months ago, and despite the conflicts among our crews and casts (if any), we are proud to present our play to everyone.
The staging of the play is on Saturday (18th May 2013) at the Auditorium Utama in our main campus, starting at 8.30 p.m. The admission is totally free~ ^___^ And everyone is very welcome to come and watch us, and I can guarantee you that you will not regret watching our performance~ Our corporate video was produced a few weeks ago, and the crews and casts have been circulating it since then. Well I know I have to play my role too ;) I hope you can come and watch my friends and I~
