[REVIEW] Shiseido Sheer and Perfect Compact in 120 Natural Light Ivory

The Shiseido compact is one of the birthday gifts I got for myself this year, and I'll try to make this review a simple one!

I wanted to get  myself only the refill since I already have the case, but on the second thought, I should get myself a new case too, hahahhahhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Please note that the compact and the case are sold separately.

The compact foundation is now housed in the a sleek refillable compact that comes in the shape of Shiseido's signature camellia. I like its identity because most compact cases are round and sometimes square.
 Look at its glossy top

Don't you love how the black and matte nude beige make the case appear more outstanding?

The compact refill comes with a sponge and a protective sheet, too.

Okay, here's the real review.

Texture:
The powder stays true to its name, it is very sheer and absolutely light on the skin. It feels smooth and not cakey, and it gives a subtle glow too My colleagues actually asked me if I applied any powder or anything before going to school because they just could not tell. However, if you are looking for a powder that is towards heavy-duty or can cover obvious imperfection, I won't recommend this.

Scent:
It is fragrance-free!

Performance:
The powder is very handy if you are short of time, lazy or just want to have a very light makeup. I am always the lazy or the latter. Full coverage is never necessary especially because I am a teacher yet I want to make myself look presentable. This Sheer and Perfect is able to absorb and mattify excess oil on the face, and does a good job for touch-ups. Even though it claims to be suitable for all skin types, I personally feel that it suits better for dry, normal or combination.

Swatch:

Will I purchase again?
I have been using the Sheer and Perfect compact for years, and haven't thought of switching to another brand! YESSSSSSSSSS.

Please stay tuned for more reviews! =D
