[REVIEW] Shiseido Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

I received this product as a sample/gift from my previous Shiseido purchase. It is oil-based and you have to shake it well before using it.

Here is a collage of my photos which I captured after my evening exercise. I still had eyeliner and mascara, as well as tint balm.

PERFORMANCE

Speed ★★★☆☆

It removes my liquid eyeliner pretty quickly, I still have to swipe it off three or four times before it is completely gone from my eyeline. However, gel eyeliner remains difficult to be removed. Not only that, but it stains my eye area too. I look like I had bad dark undereye. I wish it could remove gel eyeliner instantly, effectively! Whereas for the lips, I have to swipe it off for three times the most in order to remove lip product completely.

Safety ★★★★☆

It feels nothing when a little remover accidentally got into your eye. But if too much got in, it gives an uncomfortable feel to the eye. It does not sting, but yes, it makes your eye uncomfortable. So, you have to be careful when removing eye makeup.

I am glad I have this sample. I do not use any special makeup remover. I only use wet facial tissue. I am happy that I have this sample to remove my gel eyeliner.
