Nanzoin Temple

This is where the world's largest reclining Buddha statue is at. One of the reason I like this temple is, it is located on a hill.

Once you've reached the square, look at the greenery behind you.
There are charm stalls too.

You can choose whether to walk through a tunnel, up the hill or walk further up to see the statue.

I went further up to see the statue.

There are more things to see up there, such as this zen little garden.

As I headed down again, I chose to walk the hills.

This path led me to a small garden with some small shrines. It was mesmerizing~

When I got to the square, I walked through the tunnel. At the middle of it, there's this thing.

At the end of the tunnel, walk straight for another amazing experience.

Cute statue~

I noticed that there are many mini statues like these. If I'm not wrong, donors who donated a certain amount of money will have their name carved on the statue.

Words cannot express enough what it was like to be at Nanzoin temple. Therefore, I recorded some footage and created a video.

There is a parking space at the foothill with limited slots. If there is no more parking space, you may park your vehicle at the parking lot of the nearby restaurants.
