All Malaysian public schools had a two-weeks break in the middle of June, and I took the opportunity to visit my boyfriend in his hometown, Okinawa, Japan.

To me, it was a wonderful experience even though there was nothing much on that island. Despite being a small town, it has its own developing pace and I like how no one seems to be rushing all the time.
In fact, I somehow feel honoured to be able to see for myself the place he grows up in.
The only drawback from my trip was I went on a wrong time because it was rainy season. I forgot about it.
I spent half of my holidays being at home, but I felt happy just being with him.
