Double Ms

Nope, I'm not referring to the M&M chocolate, but
Macarons by Madeleine.

I had the chance to try out a macaron during The Butterfly Projects Malaysia's 6th birthday party. I took the macaron home, chilled it, and took a photo before eating it for my breakfast on the next day.
By the way, Tammy (aka Mamasan) the founder of The Butterfly Project told us that Madeleine handcrafted each painting of the macaron, and it was not the work of a machine. I was amazed by that because I know that painting on a small surface could be really tiring(_)

This is especially if you are short-sighted. You might need to bring it really close to you so that you could see better, and you should only use a small and thin brush. Just imagine the sore you could feel at your knuckles, neck, arms, shoulder blades and along your spine.

Oh, and one more thing.
I hid my macaron at a spot in the fridge so that my husband wouldn't see it. Otherwise, he would eat it HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHA

Frankly, when I first knew about it, I wasn't so sure if I would love it because all the macarons I have tried in my life were awfully sweet to the extend that I did not want to eat it anymore after the first bite٩(

Expensive macarons or cheap macarons were equally bad for my liking.

I took my first bite. Surprisingly, it wasn't sweet at all.
It has a hint of lemon-y taste in it and being a fan of sour food
I like it almost immediately.
When the whole macaron was in my stomach, I really do wish there was more for me to eat! ()

Handcrafted paintings, babe. How do we even measure effort and time?

And yes, Macarons by Madeleine can customise any macaron,
whether designs, colours, taste or others.

Other than The Butterfly Project, Macarons by Madeleine has also collaborated with other local business owners such as Bonbon.bloom, 18 Celebration, and many more! The latest one should be Lynns Patisserie where there will be macarons on a cake for the upcoming Mother's Day celebration!

The picture above is so Pinterest-worthy. σ(εσ)
I love flatlay photo like that~

If you have time, go visit Macarons by Madeleine. By just looking at the posts, you'll be tempted to order as well!

Be sure to keep an eye on the workshop Madeleine might organise in the future~

I want to order some macarons so badly. Do I even need a special occasion to order it? It must be someone else's birthday somewhere so I should celebrate it from here (*/*)
