[REVIEW] Aqulabo. Vinyasa Calming Serum

When I first tried this, I thought I received water hahah

Well, this Vinyasa Calming Serum is a calming and soothing serum that helps to reduce the stress or burden on the skin caused by the environment, and at the same time improve the energy flow in the skin. It is formulated with lotus fermentation complex at an ideal temperature and duration to optimise and lock the benefits of all the natural ingredients. Since this is a calming serum, it has been made suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Packaging
★★★★★
We love simple and clean packaging, don't we? The white box appearance whispers minimalism and it pleases my eyes to look at it. The serum itself is stored in an amber glass bottle with a pump to dispense and a transparent cap. Previously, I didn't like amber colour container, but I then learnt that amber glass bottle prevents exposure to daylight, thus maintaining the quality of the product. With the pump, there is no need to open the glass bottle. Therefore restricting airflow and at the same time keeping the ingredients stable. I use this daily without worrying if the effectiveness has deteriorated over time.

Scent
★★★★★
Absolute zero scent.

Texture
★★★★★
The serum is colorless and slightly concentrated. Based on the physical appearance, it completely resembles plain water and really does feel like it too. Super lightweight! It absorbs into the skin really fast and does not leave any sticky feeling. Below is a short clip to show you. There's another one on my Instagram which you can see how well it does on the skin.

Since I am actually new to proper skincare, I didn't really know what to look for even though I had been using this for some time. After Myra told me that the lotus extracts are supposed to treat redness, I started to keep an eye on it.

Since two or three weeks ago, my face as well as neck got sensitive, became red and itchy after using my night cream (been taking a break from it since then). I removed everything I had on my face and started my skincare steps again. I stopped for a few minutes after applying this Vinyasa Calming Serum. Comparing the first to the fifth minutes after applying, the redness on my face had gotten lighter and wasn't itchy anymore.

The redness caused by other skincare products I used has also subsided after I let Vinyasa Calming Serum counteracts or neutralises it. I think I heard this serum said "chill out" hahahah So yeah, this serum really does reduce inflammation and promote healing. I think those with troubled skin would love this very much!

ps: I received this from a giveaway by KBeauty Collective. You can also know more about this on Aqulabo too~
